Home Care Questions

Interim employs over 60 staff members; including Certified Dementia Care Providers, Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), LPNs, RNs, Physical and Occupational Therapy Assistants (PTA / OTA) and more. Each of our Care Professionals must go through a series of solid education overseen and developed by our Director of Nursing to ensure they are equipped with the knowledge and experience to provide the best care.

You can be confident in the fact that each and every Interim Care Professional has been carefully interviewed, 5 panel drug screened, and nationally background checked. They go through a fine filter of our applicant screening and interviewing process, taking pride in knowing that when hired, they have been selected as top notch.

Starting with the initial call to our Intake Department, we guide you through a review about you or your loved one’s health and current home environment. Our team of care professionals will contact existing physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals on your behalf to determine the plan of care needed.

After determining that we are the solution for your needs, we’ll give you a time and date to expect a visit from two of our care professionals. This visit is used to do a clinical assessment, Home Safety assessment, and review all necessary paperwork to begin care. You should expect a visit of approximately an hour as we’ll chat with you, complete a physical, learn about your day-to-day routine and challenges to set you up with the appropriate schedule and Care Pro.

We specialize in assisting individuals with chronic illnesses such as diabetes, heart disease, COPD, and Parkinsons as well as neuromuscular diseases such as Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). Neurological diseases such as Allzheimers and other dementias are a large portion of our client population.

Our team also supports those recovering from surgery, hospitalization, or rehabilitation, offering transitional care to promote healing and prevent readmission.

Additionally, we provide care for individuals with mobility challenges, disabilities, and age-related conditions that require assistance with daily activities.

Home care and private duty nursing are primarily private pay. However, other funding options may be available that we work with:

Veterans Programs (such as VA Aid & Attendance) as we are an approved VA Provider.

Long-Term Care Insurance (LTC) policies are a common source of payment for home care services.

Workers Compensation funds care for those recovering from work-related injuries.

Just as everyone’s needs for care are different, we know financial situations are deeply personal. That’s why we accept multiple ways to pay so that you have more choices in financing home healthcare.

Every person is different, especially when it comes to health and what type of home care is needed. The exact cost of care needs to be based on listening to you or your loved one, your family and your doctor, and understanding your individual situation.

After discussing your needs with our intake department, you will be given a general range of what to expect rate wise. At the in-home evaluation, a plan is then developed to best meet the specific care needs. It can include minimal assistance up to around-the-clock assistance.

Charges are based on quality care and individual needs.
